LeBron James may have had double-digit history end on Thursday night. He only scored eight times, after a streak of 1,297 games in a row with at least 10 points.
Except there's one double-digit stat that the Los Angeles Lakers' superstar still has, one that matters much more.
James has made 10 appearances in the NBA Finals.
Amazingly, that's more than the single-digit scoring games he has in his NBA career, of which he now has nine.

James has four rings, which some people use as a criticism. He only won four out of ten? What the heck, some might say.
On the flip side, James played in more Finals than Michael, or Kobe, or Duncan, or pretty much anyone in the modern era.
That means he won more conference finals than any of those guys, which may not mean rings but does mean a remarkable consistency of excellence.
Remarkable consistency of excellence pretty much sums up the scoring streak, too.
And besides, LeBron lost the streak because he made the winning pass.
That's so dang LeBron.
Just like making the Finals.
