As the season has progressed, the Los Angeles Lakers have run into problems, mainly on defense, but another issue could negatively affect the team if left unchecked.

Even though the Lakers defeated the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday, not everyone on the team was delighted with how the game unfolded.

Center, Deandre Ayton was not the happiest guy in the room, even with Los Angeles taking home the win to collect its 22nd win of the season during the post-game press conference.

Did Ayton take a shot at his teammates with this remark?

One of the moments clipped from Ayton's post-game interview could expose how the big man feels about whether he is getting the ball enough.

"Bigs can't feed themselves, and you know I just try to do the best to do what I can and bring the effort," Ayton said. The former first overall pick also expressed that he trusts his playmakers. Still, when a statement like that is made, it can confuse many about whether Ayton actually believes his teammates are properly setting him up.

Ayton may not have been alluding to the lack of touches in Sunday's game specifically, because Ayton was solid in the win with 15 points on 6/8 shooting from the field to go along with eight rebounds. However, when the teams faced off two nights earlier, he finished with only four points and six boards.

Who knows what Ayton truly meant by that statement, but small comments such as this could incidentally cause turmoil within the locker room, and drama is the last thing the purple and gold need this season.
