Lakers' Bronny James outdoes dad LeBron in stat for first time in NBA career image

Bronny James has followed in some massive footsteps for his entire basketball career. It's hard to even imagine what it must be like to be LeBron's son.

So every little milestone means something for Bronny, who is just trying to make his own name for himself in his second season with the Los Angeles Lakers (while also being teammates with his dad).

There was one tiny moment of this on Monday night in the Lakers' disappointing loss to the Sacramento Kings.

For the first time, Bronny hit more 3-pointers than his dad in a game they both played in, according to Real Sports.

Bronny got in the game just for the last minute and 53 seconds.

He proceeded to drill both shots he took, both from beyond the arc.

LeBron went 0-for-5 from 3-point range on the night.

So that's two Bronny 3s to zero LeBron 3s.

The only other point of intrigue on this night for the Lakers was a massive night for Luka Doncic, who had 42 points (16-25 FG) with seven rebounds and eight assists.

It was pretty ugly otherwise. Jake LaRavia shot 1-for-7. Marcus Smart was 0-for-5, and Jarred Vanderbilt was 0-for-3.

The Lakers fell to 23-14, while the Kings improved to 10-30.

But at least Bronny hit a couple shots from the outside. His fans will be happy about that.
