Donovan Mitchell speaks on the potential of LeBron's final game in Cleveland image

The Cleveland Cavaliers are set to host the Los Angeles Lakers Wednesday night, welcoming both LeBron James and Bronny James back home.

Given the speculation surrounding James and his retirement, many are curious to know if this will be James' final game in Cleveland.

Cavaliers star Donovan Mitchell chimed in on that speculation ahead of Wednesday's game saying: "I don't think this is his last game (in CLE). I personally don't think this is the end."

As many know, James spent 11 years in Cleveland and brought them their first title in franchise history in 2016 after falling just short during his first stint with the team in 2007. For the Cavaliers, LeBron averaged 27.2 points per game, 7.3 rebounds and 7.3 assists.

James has dominated his former team since he's been away, holding a 19-5 record against them in 24 appearances.

At 41-years-old, there's reason to believe James may call it a career after this season, that said, he's still performing at a high level.

This season for Los Angeles, James is averaging 22.4 points, 6.7 assists and six rebounds. Not bad given his age.

Additionally, to Mitchell's credit, it would be likely for James to declare his final season before the year begins.

Nevertheless, James will hope to lead the Lakers to their third straight victory with the help of Luka Doncic who leads the league in scoring.

Following Wednesday's game, the Lakers will face the Washington Wizards away from home Friday.
