The Los Angeles Lakers entered Sunday's game against the Toronto Raptors looking to bounce back after consecutive losses of 16 or more.

Luckily for them, they were nearly at full health as Luka Doncic and Deandre Ayton returned to the lineup after missing the previous matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers.

The duo wasted no time after returning, combining for 50 points with 25 apiece. However, it was Ayton who posted the most impressive performance, achieving a feat accomplished by few in Lakers' franchise history.

In addition to 25 points, Ayton grabbed 13 rebounds and tallied one block. That said, it was his efficiency that turned heads. Ayton finished a perfect 10-for-10 from the field and became the first player this season to record 25/10 on 100% from the field.

Additionally, Ayton became the fourth Laker in franchise history to record such a game, adding his name to a list that includes Mitch Kupchak and legends such as Shaquille O'Neal and Wilt Chamberlain.

Following the game, Ayton spoke to the media about the performance saying: "Those are things that I never thought I'd even be apart of  (...) I'm definitely honored and appreciative."

Los Angeles has now completed a rough stretch of five games in seven days, finishing 2-3 over that span.

It won't get much easier moving forward however, as the Lakers are now facing an eight game road trip, their longest of the season.

Los Angeles will have Monday off before returning to action against the injury stricken Denver Nuggets Tuesday.
