Amen and Ausar Thompson are not going to want to see Kawhi Leonard again anytime soon.
Leonard's recent resurgence has keyed a four-game winning streak that has the Los Angeles Clippers just 2.5 games behind the Portland Trail Blazers for the 10th seed in the Western Conference.
Unfortunately for the Thompson twins, Leonard's return to form has come at their expense.

In the past six days, Leonard has masterminded Clippers wins over the Houston Rockets and the Detroit Pistons. Against Amen Thompson and the Rockets two days before Christmas, Leonard dropped 41 points on 16-of-23 shooting in a 128-108 win.
On Sunday, when Ausar Thompson and the East-leading Pistons visited Intuit Dome, Leonard greeted him with one of the finest performances of his entire career. The six-time NBA All-Star scored a career-best 55 points as the Clippers rolled to a 112-99 victory.

After becoming the highest-drafted twins in NBA history, Amen and Ausar Thompson have emerged as two of the league's very best defenders.
So for Leonard to do what he did against rising stars of their caliber speaks volumes as to what the two-time NBA champion still has to offer -- and what the Thompson twins still have to learn in the month before they turn 23 years old.
