The Indiana Pacers lost Myles Turner in free agency to a big contract from the Milwaukee Bucks.
They went to the bargain bin to try and find his replacement, and they picked up an intriguing potential fill-in.
Jay Huff is coming to the Pacers in a trade from the Memphis Grizzlies for a second-round pick and a second-round pick swap, according to ESPN's Shams Charania.
Huff is an athletic 7-foot-1 center who was a star at Virginia.
He has already played for the Lakers, Wizards, Nuggets and Grizzlies.

This past season for Memphis, Huff averaged 6.9 points, 2.0 rebounds and 0.9 blocks in just 11 minutes per game. He also shot 40.5% from 3-point land.
His skillset is incredibly interesting, if it can scale to a larger workload.
It's a shot worth taking for Indiana. The worst thing that happens is Huff ends up being their backup.
But if he proves capable of delivering that kind of production over a bigger workload, he could end up being a steal as a potential starting center.
