The Rockets have had a rowdy December yet continue to thrive. They are still among the top teams in the Western Conference, thanks to Kevin Durant's exceptional shot-making and Alperen Sengun's strong performance in the paint. Entering the Christmas stretch, the Rockets have a 17-9 record and are in a favorable spot for the playoff picture.

Kevin Durant's social media reactions pour in

Kevin Durant climbed into the top 10 on the NBA's career field goals made list Monday night, passing Hall of Famer Hakeem Olajuwon. The 19-year veteran, already among the league's all-time scoring leaders, added another milestone to his resume.

In his first season with Houston, Durant has emerged as the Rockets' primary offensive option, averaging roughly 25 points, five rebounds, and four assists in 24 games, with his season-best line of 37 points, 10 rebounds, eight assists, and five blocks.

On the season, Durant has logged relatively high minutes in close games and overtime. He consistently leads the charge for the Rockets. Despite the turbulence, the Rockets are well-positioned for a Western Conference playoff race. The Rockets will face the Lakers at 7 PM on Christmas Day in the late game on ESPN.
