Rockets' Steven Adams has the funniest, craziest eating habits in the NBA image

Steven Adams is one of the most prolific offensive rebounders the NBA has ever seen.

He also must be one of the most prolific eaters, at least based on stories he has shared on a recent podcast with teammate Reed Sheppard.

There were multiple highlights to this segment of the podcast, including:

  • A pound of ground beef and six eggs for breakfast every day

"When you open it, eggs don't smell that great," Adams points out. Sheppard shares that Adams then brings that into the team film room, not a big space, and makes it all smell wonderful.

  • Adams eats his ribeye steaks with no utensils

"When you're eating steak, you will not burn your tongue ever if you eat with your hands," Adams said. "You know that's a good idea."

  • Adams hits multiple restaurants in one trip

"He said he normally goes to three restaurants in a row," Sheppard said.

Adams added: "It's kind of weird. Mentally, I get full of one cuisine. If I just have steak, I do that and I get to a point where it's like, alright. But then if I have Vietnamese, I can crush that again, too. It just resets for some reason."

No wonder Adams has such a voracious appetite for offensive boards.

He clearly is beloved by his teammates, too, both for his approach on the court as well as his manner of living life off of it.
