Kevin Durant blasts fans on social media for believing fake quote image

The Houston Rockets have had a season full of highs and lows, and as of late, injuries and underperformance have plagued them in their quest to compete for an NBA title this season. After the team’s loss against the Philadelphia 76ers, a parody account on X posted a fake press conference quote from Kevin Durant, with some people apparently believing it to be real. Durant went on a digital rampage, responding to several commenters with his thoughts. He frequently interacts with NBA fans regarding several topics, and this scenario was no exception.

Durant also told another fan that “you’re a sun fan who’s emotional about something I did or didn’t do. Can’t listen to anything you say, u aren’t genuine.”

It’s clear that Durant doesn’t hold many positive feelings regarding his time with the Phoenix Suns. After the Rockets beat his former team earlier this season, he said that “it feels good to play against a team that booted you out the building and scapegoated you for all of the problems that they had.

The Rockets and Kevin Durant will have a chance to prove their doubters wrong in their upcoming match against the Detroit Pistons, who look like favorites to make a deep run in the NBA playoffs. This is the perfect opportunity for Houston to right the ship and get back to winning ways.
