In the final game of group play today in EuroBasket, two undefeated teams with star centers went head-to-head. Turkey and Alperen Sengun bested Serbia and Nikola Jokic in a close matchup ending, 95-90. As a result, Turkey wins Group A, with Serbia finishing in second place. Both teams however will move on to the knockout round with the chance to face each other once more. 

Leading the way for Turkey as he has done all tournament, Alperen Sengun scored 28 points, grabbed 13 rebounds and added eight assists. Former Celtics guard Shane Larkin also produced a spark for Turkey, adding 23 points and nine assists of his own. Turkey's exceptional three point shooting made them tough to beat, shooting 18 of 31 from beyond the arc, totaling 58.1%. Turkey finishes the group stage with a point differential of 100, winning each game by an average of 20 points. This total is second highest in the tournament, trailing only Germany.

On the other side of the court, Nikola Jokic was dominant as usual. Jokic finished with 22 points, nine rebounds and four assists. Jokic however didn't have as much scoring support from his teammates, as he was the only Serbian to score more than 12 points. Clippers role player and Serbian forward, Bogdan Bogdanovic was unable to suit up due to a torn hamstring.

The final day of group stage games continues tomorrow for Groups C and D. After these matchups, Turkey and Serbia will know their first opponent in the knockout stage.
