The Golden State Warriors are ready to make a championship push. As Stephen Curry’s prime is winding down, all Warriors rumors are indicating that the team is willing to make some bold moves to help him get one more ring. The Jimmy Butler trade got them a secondary scoring star to help shoulder the load. Now, all Warriors trade ideas are flying around the internet, trying to land the team more help. This Brooklyn Nets-Boston Celtics-Warriors trade could provide the Warriors with the perfect piece.
Twitter user @BallReportX proposed a Celtics-Warriors trade idea amidst the Warriors rumors swirling around.
The trade idea looks like this:
Warriors Receive: Derrick White, Dariq Whitehead, Jalen Wilson, Tyrese Martin
Celtics Receive: Buddy Hield, Moses Moody, 2026 FRP & 2028 FRP
Nets Receive: Jonathan Kuminga (via sign-and-trade, 4 years / $100M)
The Warriors would certainly be giving up a lot in this trade, but getting Derrick White could be worth it. Kuminga is simply not a great fit with the current roster, and for the perfect piece, Hield and Moody are very expendable.
Giving up two first-round picks would hurt, but if the Warriors plan to be great next season, the 2028 one is the only one with a ton of value.
This Derrick White trade would bring the perfect guard to Golden State to play alongside Steph. White can shoot and defend at a super high level. He also has the Basketball IQ that goes a long way in Golden State.

Whitehead, Wilson, and Martin may seem like throw-ins, but they all have potential. They are young, athletic, and all shot decently from three-point range last season for the Nets.
If the Warriors rumors are true, and the team wants to really take a shot, a trade like this seems perfect. If the Warriors can pull off this Derrick White trade, they will be in a better position to contend next season.
