Anytime anyone tunes into a Golden State Warriors game, there's an excitement about seeing Stephen Curry.
The greatest shooter in NBA history is always a thrill to watch.
On Friday night, though, when the Warriors take on the Denver Nuggets on Amazon Prime Video in a national game, Curry won't be out there.
For the second consecutive contest, Golden State will have to figure out how to play without its superstar leader.

Why isn't Steph Curry playing tonight?
Steph Curry remains out not with an injury but instead an illness.
Curry missed the defeat to the Kings on Wednesday while sick after playing through it in a Tuesday win over the Suns.
The Warriors also played Wednesday without Draymond Green and Jimmy Butler.
On the initial injury report for the Nuggets game, Green was probable and Butler was questionable.
Friday night is an NBA Cup game, too, part of the in-season tournament, so there's a bit more sense of urgency, at least for teams valuing the cup games.
Curry's health is obviously of utmost importance to the Warriors, though, and they won't rush him back.
The likes of Jonathan Kuminga and Will Richard should continue to get more shots while Curry is out.
