The newest Golden State Warriors trade rumor says a new team is potentially interested in Jonathan Kuminga. The Phoenix Suns are reportedly interested in the Warriors' young forward. A Suns-Kuminga trade could bring back decent value back to the Warriors.

According to Jake Fischer of The Stein Line, the Suns may be in the market for Kuminga.

“Sources say Phoenix, meanwhile, is the latest team to express exploratory interest in a Kuminga sign-and-trade ... challenging as it would be for the Suns to make such a deal happen. Fresh off completing a buyout of Bradley Beal this week, enabling the Suns to waive-and-stretch the hefty contract possessed by the three-time NBA All-Star guard, they have contacted both Kuminga's representation and the Warriors to make their fondness for the bouncy swingman known.”

As a response to this report, people are starting to build Suns-Kuminga trades that could work for both sides.

Jack Simone of Blue Man Hoop proposed a Kuminga trade that would get the Warriors two key role players.

Simone proposed a Kuminga sign-and-trade with the Suns sending Grayson Allen, Nick Richards, and two second-round picks to the Warriors.

The Warriors need size and shooting. This trade idea gives them a decent role-playing center and a sharp-shooter who could fit well with the Warriors.

Still, at this point, it is probably better to hold onto Kuminga. Kuminga is much better than both Allen and Richards. He has been constantly improving, and the Warriors can afford to wait a few more months to see what kind of trade package Kuminga can fetch.

Best case scenario, Kuminga raises his value and commands much more. Or looks so good with Stephen Curry and Jimmy Butler next season that he becomes untradeable. The worst case is that a deal like this is still on the table by the trade deadline.
