Warriors' Steph Curry broke an all-time Michael Jordan NBA record image

On Friday night, Stephen Curry told Michael Jordan to move over.

On one NBA all-time record board, the Golden State Warriors legend now stands alone, breaking a tie with the Chicago Bulls great and moving into first place.

The category: Most 35-point games after the age of 30.

Jordan had 93 such games.

Curry now has 94.

On Friday night, Curry dropped 39 points, although it wasn't quite enough to beat the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Curry made 14-of-28 shots from the floor and 6-of-15 from 3-point range. He added five rebounds and five assists.

Now 37 years old, Curry is averaging 28.5 points per game this season.

The league's best-ever 3-point shooter isn't necessarily the guy you'd expect to keep dominating the league at his age. He's just 6-foot-2, 185 pounds. Shouldn't the league's athleticism and physicality have passed him by by now?

Maybe that was supposed to happen, but it hasn't.

Curry is an all-time great, still at or near the top of his game, still wowing basketball fans with what he does each and every night.
