The Golden State Warriors got some bad news Wednesday night when Stephen Curry was injured.
On Thanksgiving Day, they confirmed that he'll miss some time.
This was the official team announcement:
"Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry, who exited last night's game against the Houston Rockets with 35.2 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter due to a right quadriceps contusion, underwent an MRI late last night. The MRI confirmed a quadriceps contusion and muscle strain. He will be re-evaluated in one (1) week."

Curry got into a couple collisions in the fourth quarter that likely contributed to the injury.
Head coach Steve Kerr said after the game he was glad it wasn't an ankle or knee injury.
He also said to reporters, if Curry misses time, "It obviously changes everything -- our rotations, how we're playing, who we are playing through."

For more than a decade, the Warriors have revolved around Curry. When he's not on the floor, things are obviously very different.
The Warriors also lost Gary Payton II to injury Wednesday night, a sprained left ankle.
Golden State gets back on the court Saturday against the Pelicans. Then they'll play Tuesday, Dec. 2 against the Thunder, Thursday, Dec. 4 against the 76ers and Sat., Dec. 6 against the Cavs.
