The Golden State Warriors have had an up-and-down start to the season, sitting at 16-15.

Talks about the Warriors making a blockbuster trade to shake up the team's roster. But General Manager Mike Dunleavy Jr. Doesn't anticipate a deal like that happening anytime soon.

"We'll look to do stuff that makes our team better, but I wouldn't bank on that type of move," Dunleavy said on "Warriors Pregame Live".

Dunleavy is still bullish on this Warriors team despite their uneven start.

"The key with this team, frankly, right now and moving forward is improving from within," Dunleavy said. "The biggest area we know is turnovers. We've got to start taking care of the ball. We're doing some really good stuff."

One issue for the Warriors this season has been turnovers. Golden State commits 15.6 turnovers per game, which ranks 29th in the NBA. Dunleavy said the Warriors will be fine if they can protect the basketball.

"Right now there's a little too much talk about fixing the roster and some of these other things going on. It's all right in front of us. We've got to take care of the ball, and we'll be good."

Golden State has had several role players emerge this season. Rookie Will Richard has been the biggest surprise, as he's averaging 8.1 points and shooting 41.8% from deep. Dunleavy thinks the Warriors have plenty of depth.

"These guys can come in when they need to and play five, six minutes, and be really productive for us," Dunleavy said. "I think you've got to build a team this day and age that has depth."

Dunleavy is confident the Warriors will make their playoff push when head coach Steve Kerr finds a consistent rotation of players.

"We've got a good, deep roster," Dunleavy said. "We'd like to find some consistency here. And I think with consistency in lineups, that will probably lead to consistency in winning."
