On Wednesday night, the Warriors made a major announcement regarding the injury timeline of one of their key players.

What's the injury update?
The Warriors announced that guard Brandin Podziemski underwent surgery on Tuesday and that it was a successful procedure.
Podziesmki's surgery was a left wrist debridement, which was to remove bad tissue to promote better healing.
The Warriors PR team stated that "[Podziemski] is expected to make a full recovery and be ready for the start of training camp."

He has a productive sophomore year in the league, averaging 11.7 PPG, 5.1 RPG, 3.4 APG and 1.1 SPG in 64 games played in the regular season.
The Warriors have some important decisions to make this summer, so Podziemski's role can change based on any change in movement around the roster.

He is still under contract for the next two seasons, with a team option next summer.
The following summer in 2027 he will become a restricted free agent.
