The Golden State Warriors routed the Chicago Bulls on Sunday, a 32-point win, the kind that you'd expect to feature action for everyone in uniform.
Except, well, Jonathan Kuminga didn't play a single second. Where have we seen this before?
It's a weird, unexpected callback to the end of last season, when Kuminga was essentially pushed out of the rotation down the stretch of the regular season, only returning in the playoffs when players were injured.
This spot is different. The Warriors didn't have Stephen Curry or Draymond Green available on Sunday, and Kuminga still didn't play.
The likes of Pat Spencer, Trayce Jackson-Davis and Gui Santos all saw at least 20 minutes. Kuminga got 0.

Afterward, head coach Steve Kerr provided an explanation that doesn't really tell us all that much.
"It happens to everybody pretty much other than the stars. Guys come in and out of the rotation, depending on who's available, how the team's playing."
Kuminga had just played 22 minutes on Saturday night in a win over the Cleveland Cavaliers, although he did shoot just 1-for-10 from the field in that one.
He has played double-digit minutes in every game before Sunday, although his time has dropped into the teens and low-20s after it had been in the high-20s and 30s early in the season.
All eyes will be on the Warriors' next game, which doesn't come until Friday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves. If Kuminga is still entirely out of the rotation then, that'd certainly be noteworthy.
