The Golden State Warriors haven’t succeeded in avoiding the injury bug thus far.

The Warriors’ star point guard, Stephen Curry, has missed several contests due to quadricep and ankle setbacks, causing the franchise’s offense to suffer on the hardwood.

On Monday, Jimmy suffered an apparent knee injury against the Miami Heat that looked horrible in real time and on replay.

Essentially, Butler came down awkwardly as he was preparing to finish around the rim and was forced to exit the contest in the third quarter.

Although one may argue that it’s too early for Warriors fans to begin panicking, the fact that the six-time All-Star could’t walk off the floor without assistance from his teammates suggests that he could be dealing with a significant injury.

If Butler is unable to return to action anytime soon, it’s safe to say Curry will have to return to his superhuman ways for the Dubs to survive moving forward.

Jonathan Kuminga hasn't played in a game with the Warriors in a month, and the organization’s key role players (Moses Moody, Brandin Podziemski, Quentin Post, Will Richard, etc.) Can’t be relied upon to be high-level complementary pieces alongside Curry nightly.

Hopefully, Butler, who’s averaging 20.1 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 4.9 assists per game on 51.9% field goal shooting and 38.1% three-point shooting this season, isn’t dealing with a season/career-altering injury.
