The Golden State Warriors haven’t made a single signing or trade this offseason. Every Jonathan Kuminga update seems the same. The Warriors are holding firm on their offer, and Kuminga’s camp isn’t pushing to accept any time soon. This has caused all other Warriors' free agency signings to be on hold.
The Warriors did have an OK Summer League, however, where some of their young players showcased their potential.
One player, Isaiah Mobley, brother of NBA Defensive Player of the Year Evan Mobley, was considered to be a long shot to make the Warriors roster. Mobley had a solid Summer League game for the Warriors, where he scored 13 points with three assists and two steals against the Los Angeles Lakers.
That dream, however, is now over because Mobley has signed a contract with Manisa Basket in Turkey. This comes as no surprise, as Mobley has been struggling to find his footing in the NBA.
Mobley has played three NBA seasons but has barely gotten to see the floor in the big leagues. He played in 12 games for the Cavaliers in his rookie season, 10 the next season, and only one single game for the Philadelphia 76ers last year.
Mobley has averaged 2.6 points, 1.5 rebounds, and 0.6 assists in his 7.5 minutes per game in the NBA. His G-League stats were much more impressive, which is partly how he earned a spot on the Warriors Summer League roster.

Hopefully, for Mobley, this transition to European basketball goes better than his attempt at a long NBA career.
