The Denver Nuggets had no business beating the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday night.
The Nuggets' entire starting lineup was sitting out, and a few more guys, for good measure.
But the Nuggets did just that. They won in overtime, a crazy victory if there ever was one.
It was so wild that it earned a post on LinkedIn from one of the Nuggets' key contributors that played, Spencer Jones.
This is what Jones wrote:
Some games you'll remember for the rest of your life.
On paper, this one didn't make sense.
Shorthanded by seven players.
No starters available.
With lineup made up almost entirely of guys who began their careers in the G League.
We were on the road against a top team in the Eastern Conference with multiple NBA stars.
Everything about it was unlikely, including my defensive matchup against a near 300-pound center.
But nights like this remind you what teams are really built on. Effort carries. Belief compounds.
And when everyone commits to the same goal, logic stops mattering.
One of the most improbable wins I've been a part of. And we did it in OT.
Love this team!

For what it's worth, Jones went 43 minutes in the victory. He scored 10 points (4-6 FG, 1-3 3FG) with three rebounds and two assists.
Jones got his money's worth, helping to defend Joel Embiid, picking up five fouls in the process.
The Nuggets are in a bit of a potential rough patch with Nikola Jokic out longer than just the one night, even though others may be back soon.
But their reserve group proved they can pull off the improbable.
