The Denver Nuggets' leading trio had an exceptional night Monday against the Chicago Bulls, and the Nuggets somehow still lost.
That doesn't take away the NBA history put up by Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray and Aaron Gordon.
That trio combined for 94 points, 39 rebounds and 17 assists.
According to OptaStats, they're the first three teammates to reach those numbers in a non-overtime game since January 24, 1971, when the Lakers' Wilt Chamberlain, Jerry West and Happy Hairston did it.

First off, shoutout to Happy Hairston.
Secondly, how could the Nuggets lose a game with such a feat?
And third, good for the Bulls, who picked up their win of the season.
Jokic led the Nuggets' charge, as you'd expect. He went for 36 points, 18 rebounds and 13 assists.
Murray had 34 points, 11 rebounds and four assists.
Gordon had 28 points, 10 rebounds but no assists.
The Nuggets also got 19/4/3 out of Cameron Johnson, but no other player had more than five points.
Denver fell to 10-3 with the loss. They're off to a great start to the season.
But on this night, they didn't quite align with Happy Hairston, simply because there was no reason to be happy.
