The Denver Nuggets had to deliver unfortunate news to multiple contributors hoping to start the new season on a positive note.

According to the Denver Gazette’s Vinny Benedetto, one of the contributors happens to be a 7-foot-2 former New York Knicks and Los Angeles Lakers center.

“The Nuggets waived Moses Brown and Kessler Edwards today,” Benedetto reported Saturday.

Brown has only been a member of the NBA for six years, yet has competed with several franchises since going undrafted in 2019.

After short stints with the Portland Trail Blazers, Oklahoma City Thunder, Dallas Mavericks, and Los Angeles Clippers, Brown secured a two-way contract with the Knicks in 2023.

However, the Knicks waived the UCLA product less than a week after signing him, causing him to search for his next NBA destination.

Brown returned to the Knicks in 2024 after joining the Lakers for the 2024 Summer League, but again didn’t last long with the organization.

Brown, who averaged 5.8 points and 3.4 rebounds with the Indiana Pacers and Mavericks last season, only participated in two preseason games with the Nuggets this year and received less than five minutes of playing time in both outings (he contributed 4.5 points and three rebounds in his limited minutes).

The 26-year-old’s journeyman NBA career will continue after the Nuggets’ recent and unsurprising roster move.
