If you had to pick a player in the NBA to hit an uber-casual buzzer beater from halfcourt, this would be the guy.
Nikola Jokic checked that box on Monday night for the Denver Nuggets.
At the end of the third quarter, Jokic caught the ball, turned and fired.
Of course it went in:

Jokic loves a long-distance buzzer beater.
Before the NBA changed the heave rules to have them not count against field-goal percentage for an individual, most players didn't chuck long shots. Jokic still did, though. It's a fun little challenge for him.
And more often than you'd expect, Jokic makes it.
The Nuggets needed this one during a close game against the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday night. Rather than a five-point lead to the fourth quarter, it was an eight-point lead.
Denver went on to win, 125-115.
Naturally, Jokic had a triple-double.
The final stats for Jokic:
- 17 points
- 10 rebounds
- 16 assists
- 5-9 FG
- 3-4 3FG
- 4-5 FT
- 2 steals
Just another day at the office for The Joker.
