Cooper Flagg is well on his way to one of those rookie seasons that sets records around every corner.

The Dallas Mavericks chose Flagg No. 1 overall out of Duke for a reason. There's no one else like him in his draft class.

And remarkably, Flagg was the youngest player in his draft class, too.

That's how he reached his latest accomplishment: Flagg has surpassed 200 NBA points.

Is that a lot? Not really.

But he's the first 18-year old to get to 200 before turning 19 since LeBron James.

The two before that to do it were Kobe Bryant and Tracy McGrady, according to StatMuse.

It's tough to keep better company than that.

And it's worth noting: Those three guys came out of high school.

Flagg spent a year in college and is still young enough to accomplish this feat.

The future for Dallas with Flagg at the helm is very bright.
