Cooper Flagg has already gotten some run with the Mavericks during this year's NBA Summer League.
His performance on Saturday demonstrated his already considerable talent.
During the NBA Summer League, NBA2K announced some of the new details for NBA 2K26, including the player rating for Flagg.
What is Flagg's rookie rating?
Ronnie 2K revealed in person to Cooper Flagg what his rating would be, going into his first season in the NBA.
Flagg will start as an 82 overall.

This is pretty incredible for a player just entering the NBA at 18 years old.
For reference, Luka Doncic was a 79 overall when he entered the league.
For the hyped up prospects like Flagg, coming in with a high 70 overall or low 80 overall is a big deal, since most rookies are typically given a low-mid 70 overall rating when entering the league.
Flagg can certainly raise his rating by the end of this upcoming season, but for now, he comes in at a very respectable 82 rating.
