Merry Christmas. Anthony Davis is injured.
Sounds pretty on brand for the Dallas Mavericks star.
Davis played the first half on Thursday against the Golden State Warriors. But at the start of the second half, he was ruled out for the remainder of the game.
AD has a groin injury.
Davis played 11 minutes in the first half. He had three points, three rebounds, two blocks and a steal.
The Mavericks trailed by double-digits for most of the first half, and Davis hadn't helped the cause much.

The torch would be passed in the second half. Could Cooper Flagg lead the Mavs back against the Warriors?
It was going to have to be him. With no Davis, the Mavericks had one less direction to return.
Often this season, Flagg has been up to the task.
He'll have to be again.
