It was bound to happen eventually.
The Cleveland Cavaliers scored a basket for the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday. It came directly off the tap of a jump ball.
Not a game-opening jump ball, no. The kind that comes at the foul line when there's a held ball in the frontcourt.
Nae'Qwan Tomlin was jumping for Cleveland against Julius Randle.
Tomlin got the ball so firmly that it banked right into the hoop:
I still can’t believe this happened yesterday. I’ve been waiting for it to happen and it finally happened. Wow.Pic.twitter.com/QYTmmRAmUz

The best part? When the defensive team puts the ball into its own hoop, the points have to be awarded to the offensive player closer to the rim.
So this was 2 points for Naz Reid, the Minnesota player under the rim when the ball goes in.
That'll be the easiest bucket Reid ever gets.
