Cavs' Lonzo Ball appears headed to banishment from Cleveland Cavaliers image

The Cleveland Cavaliers traded for Lonzo Ball in the offseason to add a quality point guard to their rotation.

It has taken less than half a season for Ball to have fallen entirely out of the rotation.

The Cavs won in blowout fashion on Wednesday, and everyone on the active roster played, except for Ball.

He was listed as a Did Not Play - Coach's Decision.

It's the second consecutive game that Ball was a DNP-Coach's Decision.

The Cavs have instead gone with Craig Porter Jr. As their backup point guard to Darius Garland.

You can't really blame Kenny Atkinson for that. CPJ has played great.

It has fans wondering what's next for Ball, though. Is a trade in the cards?

It's certainly a disappointing outcome for the Cavs after that trade.

Ball probably still has time to regain his spot.

But he might also be on the outside looking in for a while.
