Cavs' Donovan Mitchell makes rare decision in frustration after Cleveland loss image

The Cleveland Cavaliers drew up the final play for Evan Mobley.

It didn't work, and the Cavs lost to the Boston Celtics on Sunday night.

After the game, Donovan Mitchell didn't appear thrilled.

With media in the locker room as usual, Mitchell declined to talk, which is rare.

The Celtics ended up winning the game, 117-115.

Mitchell finished with 18 points, seven rebounds and eight assists.

The star guard has had a lot of big games this season, playing more than a handful of his teammates who have missed a bunch of time already with injury.

On this night, Mitchell was just so-so, but apparently frustration had built up enough that he didn't trust himself to say the right things to reporters.

That could be good judgment, and it's fair every now and then for a star player to get a night off from having to answer questions.

But it's also telling for Mitchell to sit off to the side and not share his piece.
