There have been few rises to NBA prominence quite like that of Craig Porter Jr.

This is a 6-foot-1 guard who began his college career at Vincennes University, which proclaims itself as Indiana's first college and is not a sporting powerhouse ever heard of by anyone outside the Hoosier State. It's a D-I junior college, for those wondering.

Porter then ended up at Wichita State, where he was a solid college player. But at his size, he unsurprisingly went undrafted.

He hasn't let the NBA pass him by, though. And on Tuesday night, he put up a stat line for the Cleveland Cavaliers last achieved by LeBron James, one of the greatest players of all time.

In a win over the Pacers, Porter had eight points, nine rebounds, nine assists, three blocks and two steals.

He's the fourth player in Cleveland history to reach at least those marks in the five categories in one game, according to Cleveland.com's Chris Fedor.

The other three are Brad Daugherty, the original Larry Nance, and King James.

It's not a fluke, either. Porter, in particular, is a wildly effective shot blocker for a guard.

That picture at the top of the article is from earlier this season, when Porter stuffed Spurs No. 2 overall pick Dylan Harper at the rim.

On the season, Porter is now averaging 5.0 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.1 steals and 0.7 blocks in 17.3 minutes per game.

He has allowed the Cavs to essentially turn entirely away from Lonzo Ball in the rotation and instead just use Porter as the backup to Darius Garland.

At this rate, it might be fun to see what it'd look like if Porter was a starting point guard somewhere. It's not often a player in a Cavs uniform is putting up a well-rounded box score last achieved by LeBron.
