The Chicago Bulls are going into tonight’s game against the Houston Rockets shorthanded once more. The Bulls currently have a record of 18-20 and are ranked 10th in the Eastern Conference. They are ranked behind the 20-21, 9th-seeded Atlanta Hawks. Going up against the 22-14, 7th-seeded Houston Rockets tonight, the Bulls are gonna need their reserves to step up if they want to secure the win.
Coby White is out tonight
One of the main stories, however, is Coby White’s availability. Tonight’s game is the first game of a back-to-back, where tomorrow the Bulls will go up against the Utah Jazz. White played the last game against the Dallas Mavericks in a winning effort, the final score being 125-107.
White finished the game with 22 points while going 9-15 from the field in just 29 minutes. This was a bounce-back performance following his lackluster game against the Boston Celtics back on January 5th.
Coby White is currently dealing with his right calf injury that has caused him to miss a majority of the games this season. The Bulls decided to tend his injury carefully with the right precautionary measures and decided to sit him out for the first game of the back-to-back set. This means he won’t be available to play against the Houston Rockets tonight.

Now, the Bulls will play without the help of two of their star players, that being Coby White and Josh Giddey, who are out with a hamstring injury. That simply means Nikola Vucevic will need to gain more usage, while the Bulls' depth steps up to fight against a highly competitive team.
