The Chicago Bulls may finally have a direction. All Bulls rumors are pointing towards the idea that the team is finally ready to lean into a rebuild. With multiple veterans still on the roster, many believe that there are many different opportunities available to swap some of their vets for more young talent. This three-team Bulls trade idea would land the team a potential star guard.
NBA Analyst, Jake Weinback, took to Twitter to explain one of his favorite NBA mock trades.
The Bulls trade idea looks like this:
Rockets receive: Kevin Durant
Phoenix Suns receive: Nikola Vučević, Jabari Smith Jr., Lonzo Ball, No. 10 overall pick (via HOU)
Chicago Bulls receive: Jalen Green, 2027 first-round pick (via UTA, CLE or MIN from PHX)
Although this is inherently a Kevin Durant trade idea, the addition of the Bulls is key.
In this proposed trade, not only would the Bulls move off two of two veterans who no longer fit their timeline, but they’d land a budding star and a first-round pick.
This would be a homerun deal for the Bulls. Vučević and Ball are no longer long-term pieces for the team, and Jalen Green would be an insane return for the two of them.
Although Green’s value is somewhat debated in different NBA circles, he is undeniably talented. Green averaged 21 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game for one of the best teams in the league last season.

Green would instantly be the best player on the Bulls. That’s why Chicago fans should hope this Bulls rumor comes true. If they can land an already productive young star who is only 23 years old, they need to do it. The extra first-round pick only makes this deal even sweeter. The Bulls should pray that a deal like this becomes available this offseason.
