LaMelo Ball didn't stop shooting.
But the Charlotte Hornets star didn't start making shots at any point against the Cleveland Cavaliers in a loss on Wednesday night.
Shield your eyes from his final line:
- 1-for-15 from the field
- 0-for-10 from 3-point range
'Melo is the first player in NBA regular season history to shoot 1-for-15 from the field in a game.

The only fun part is the meme of it: That's 6.7%.

Orlando Magic star Franz Wagner did have a playoff game in 2024 in which he shot 1-for-15 from the field, so that must've felt even worse.
But it can't have been particularly fun for LaMelo, whose brother Lonzo was on the other side playing for the Cavs.
Lonzo didn't actually see the floor, though, so there was only one shot made in the game the entire night by the Ball brothers.
Ouch.
