Hornets injury report: Kon Knueppel, Brandon Miller and more vs. OKC image

Following a 13-point victory Saturday against the Chicago Bulls, the Charlotte Hornets will finish their current three-game road trip Monday with a tough matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder. When these two teams faced off in November, the Hornets fell 109-96.

While Charlotte may be large underdogs on paper, Oklahoma City will be playing on the second night of a back-to-back, having fell to the Phoenix Suns Sunday.

However, the Hornets have injury concerns heading into Monday's showdown. For starters, Ryan Kalkbrenner has been listed as out. This will be the rookie's eighth consecutive game missed due to an elbow strain. Moussa Diabate is listed as questionable due to a wrist injury.

With Mason Plumlee recovering from surgery to address a groin injury, Diabate's health will be critical ahead of Monday's game. If he's unable to suit up, PJ Hall will be the lone center active for Charlotte.

Furthermore, Tidjane Salaun has been listed as questionable due to an ankle injury, while rookie star Kon Knueppel has also been added to the injury report due to a hip contusion.

Lastly, Brandon Miller has been upgraded to probable, dealing with a left knee contusion.

Oklahoma City has not yet revealed their injury report ahead of the matchup. That said, the Thunder played without Jaylin Williams, Isaiah Hartenstein and Ousmane Dieng in Sunday's game against Phoenix.

Following Monday's contest, the Hornets will return home for a brief two-game homestand against the Toronto Raptors and Indiana Pacers.
