The Charlotte Hornets ride a two-game winning streak heading into Wednesday's matchup against the Toronto Raptors.

In their last game, the Hornets pulled off the biggest upset of the year, beating a -15.5 point spread to defeat the defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder on the road.

Over their last eight games, Charlotte's offense has been incredible, averaging over 121 points per game.

The stellar play of Brandon Miller has been a large reason why. Over the last five games, Miller is averaging 26.6 points per game to go along with 5.8 rebounds, including a 33-point performance against the Golden State Warriors on New Year's Eve. During that span, Miller is shooting with splits of 45% from the field, 41% from three-point range and 85% from the free-throw line.

Although he's missed 16 games due to injury (most notably a shoulder issue), it's safe to say he's returned to form. With Monday's victory, the Hornets are now.500 (10-10) with Miller in the lineup this season.

Following Monday's game, Miller gave all credit to his teammates for his recent form. "My teammates put me in the best position to give me the best shot possible. (...) They trust me enough to take shots like that. I take them—I make sometimes, I miss them sometimes. I'm not perfect, but my teammates are gonna keep trusting me to take those shots."

After Wednesday's game against Toronto, the Hornets will remain in Charlotte for Thursday's game against the Indiana Pacers.
