The Charlotte Hornets had arguably their best performance in history, as they won against the Utah Jazz 150-95. It is the Hornets' largest margin of victory in a road game in franchise history. This is a landmark win that could have long-term effects.

Even the promising star Brandon Miller agrees. Despite not shooting well, Miller did score 18 points to be the second-highest scorer in the historic win. This was a huge confidence booster not only for Miller, but for the entire Hornets franchise.

Most of the attention from this result will be on the Jazz and how badly they played. They were lackluster offensively and disastrous on the defensive side of the ball. However, much could also be said about the Hornets and their performance.

The Hornets had nine players scoring in double-figures, with Tre Mann leading the way with 20 points. It was a phenomenal night for the Hornets and head coach Charles Lee. This was a game they could be proud of, and it could serve as the building block for their long-term future.

Having this kind of performance should be an eye-opener for the rest of the league. Miller and the rest of the Hornets have proven they can be a dangerous team in the long run.

With Miller, LaMelo Ball, and Kon Knueppel serving as the team's building blocks, they have a good foundation. Coach Lee is also growing as a head coach, which could be a good sign. The NBA community got to see their potential in this stellar result against the Jazz.

"I think we needed this win. We've been down a little bit, some guys. Just happy to see a full Hornets team, and it showed. It's fun, when we're playing like that with our whole team, it gets everybody going. I feel like if we have this whole season, it will allow us to bond closer and closer," Miller said about the victory and the perks of a full roster.

Moving forward, it will be up to Lee and the rest of the Hornets to step up and maintain the momentum. They managed to have a strong result against the Jazz, but they will play against the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday.

It is a tough stretch ahead for the Hornets, so getting this huge confidence boost against the Jazz should be a good sign. Of course, they should not let it go to their heads, but the promise is there for Charlotte's potential to be fully unlocked.
