After winning three-straight games toward the end of December, the Brooklyn Nets are sliding once again, losers in six of their last seven games.

Despite their recent improvements on defense, offense has been the issue amidst their current losing streak. The Nets have failed to 106 or more points in five of their last six matchups, including an overtime loss to the Orlando Magic.

Scoring could also be an issue Monday against the Dallas Mavericks as the Nets will be without a few impact players.

According to Hoops Hype, the Nets will be without both Egor Demin and Cam Thomas due to injury management. Ziaire Williams has also been ruled out due to illness.

That said, Michael Porter Jr. Will return to the starting lineup after missing Brooklyn's last game against the Memphis Grizzlies. Drake Powell has been upgraded to available as well.

With Demin, Williams and Thomas sidelined, the Nets will be without three of their top-six scorers. In their absence, expect Brooklyn to rely heavily on the shot-creation of Michael Porter Jr. As well as the paint presence of Nic Claxton.

On the other side, Dallas is dealing with plenty of injuries on their own. For starters, Kyrie Irving, Anthony Davis, Derrick Lively II and Dante Exum remain out.

Additionally, both Brandon Williams and P.J. Washington are listed as doubtful. Lastly, Moussa Cisse is listed as questionable, dealing with a shoulder injury.

Following Monday's game against Dallas, the Nets will return to action Wednesday against the New Orleans Pelicans.
