Celtics' Luka Garza shows off move he taught to Anthony Edwards image

There are so many fascinating things about Luka Garza.

For one, he's only the second best Luka in the NBA.

For another, he's got the best points per minute average in NBA playoff history when you make the minutes minimum 30 minutes.

And really, he's one of the best bucket-getting big men you'll see who is also pretty much a bench warmer.

At least, so far in his career, he's been a bench warmer.

The former Iowa star is on a new NBA team this season, having joined the Boston Celtics. And the Celtics are in an interesting spot, possessing a bunch of talented big guys but no obvious standouts.

It's also set to be a weird season for Boston since Jayson Tatum is out. That might allow the Celtics to try a few new things out.

Anyway, this all stems from the fact that Garza pulled out a guard-like move in preseason action, the deceleration Euro step.

It's a move that Timberwolves superstar Anthony Edwards has said he actually learned from the 6-foot-11 Garza.

Here it is:

Garza doesn't ever look particularly smooth, but he usually gets where he wants to go and gets off the shot he wants to get.

You know a big guy is fascinating when he has taught a move to one of the most explosive guards in the NBA.

Maybe the Celtics will figure out how to best use this Luka.
