Luka Garza has started his Boston Celtics career in strong fashion.
One statistic in particular is going quite well for Garza: He's shooting 38.1% from 3-point range.
And Garza is doing that better than Luka Doncic, the Lakers star, who is only at 32% from 3.
Celtics reporter Marc D'Amico pointed out what that means: Garza has the best 3-point percentage in the NBA among all players named Luka.

Does this mean anything?
No, not really.
But it does mean Garza has added the 3-point shot to his game.
He's always had good touch, but in college at Iowa, Garza did most of his work in the paint.
Now, he can add to his NBA value by making 3s. And he's making 3s right now.
It's never a bad thing for Boston's Luka to be ahead of L.A.'s Luka in anything, because Doncic is an absolute superstar.
It's a big NBA rivalry, and each side has a Luka. What are the odds of that?
