Pierre Rondo isn't even in high school, but the son of Boston Celtics legend Rajon Rondo is already making a big impact on a varsity basketball court.

Playing for North Oldham (Kentucky) on Monday night, Pierre dropped 29 points in a 75-54 win over a talented Ballard team. Both are ranked in the top-15 of the Louisville Courier-Journal poll, so this wasn't a cupcake matchup, and Pierre took the game over.

You can check out some of his highlights here, seeing just how much of his game looks eerily similar to his dad's:

It's sure a good thing for Kentucky middle school basketball players that that's a state where eighth-graders can play on high school teams.

Can you imagine Pierre Rondo on a floor with other eighth-graders? He'd be doing anything he wanted.

It wasn't that far off of that in his varsity game Monday night, either.

It makes sense that Rondo's son would be a hooper. It's still cool to see just how quickly Pierre has taken to the game, and it's fun to imagine just how good he might become.

For now, he'll have a long varsity basketball career ahead of him to continue showing some seriously impressive genetics and a strong game of his own.
