The Boston Celtics post an official injury report on social media before every game.
Jayson Tatum's name has been on there each time this season.
Tatum is listed each time as being out for "right Achilles repair."
NBA fans are getting a little annoyed.

It definitely must be like a painful little poke each time a Boston fan comes across that and has to be reminded that Tatum is still out.
In the replies, NBA writer Kevin O'Connor did make a key point, though, writing: "The QUESTIONABLE is gonna hit hard though if it drops out of nowhere."
Considering Tatum tore his Achilles in the playoffs last season, it's hard to imagine him being back for April or maybe March if everything goes well.
Video emerged late in the offseason of Tatum already dunking off two feet, but a stationary dunk off two feet is incredibly far away from being able to play in an NBA game.

If Tatum works his way back, the Celtics will also have to weigh risk and reward. Do they have a team they think can sneak its way to a championship? Or would they just be exposing Tatum to unnecessary risk?
At this point, only one thing is certain: The Celtics are going to keep tweeting those injury reports with Tatum out for a while.
