What time does the NASCAR race start today? TV schedule, channel for 2025 Charlotte Roval playoff race image

Engines will roar once again as the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs roll into Charlotte for the Bank of America ROVAL 400 on October 5.

The stakes couldn’t be higher, as the ROVAL doubles as the Round of 12 elimination race. When the checkered flag waves, four drivers will see their championship hopes run out of gas. Ross Chastain, Austin Cindric, Bubba Wallace, and Tyler Reddick all enter the weekend sitting below the cutline and needing a big performance to keep their playoff dreams alive.

Last year, Kyle Larson outdueled Christopher Bell to snag his sixth win of the season, and he’ll be back with plenty of momentum in his corner. This time around, though, the spotlight isn’t just on the victory lane celebration — it’s on the razor-thin margins around the playoff bubble, where every lap, pit stop, and misstep could make or break a driver’s season.
