It should be a historic night for MMA when UFC 322 comes to Madison Square Garden on November 15.
The main event will see Jack Della Maddalena defend the welterweight title against former UFC light heavyweight champion Islam Makhachev.
Della Maddalena (18-2) beat Belal Muhammad at UFC 315 in May to win the UFC welterweight title. The Aussie last lost a fight in 2016, and he's currently on an eighteen-fight win streak.
Makhachev (27-1) vacated the lightweight title to compete in this fight. The Russian also hasn't lost a bout since 2016.
The co-main event is a massive fight between Valentina Shevchenko and former UFC strawweight champion Zhang Weili for the UFC flyweight title.
One of the most feared fighters in MMA history, Shevchenko (25-4-1) is a two-time UFC flyweight champion. “The Bullet" is 2-1-1 in her last four fights.
Zhang (26-3) is a two-time strawweight champion. The Chinese fighter is on a five-fight win streak and attempts to take gold from a deadly striker in Shevchenko.
