Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Isn't taking any chances.

The Toronto Blue Jays superstar chose a special hockey sweater to wear as he walked into Rogers Centre for Game 7 of the World Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

With the entire season coming down to this one night, Vladdy chose one of the most clutch players in Canadian history.

The jersey? Marie-Philip Poulin.

She scored the game-winning goal in three different Olympic gold medal matches for Canada.

And according to reporter Chris Johnston, it was a game-worn jersey.

Vladdy has done everything he can up to this point. He has eight home runs in the playoffs, tied for second-most in history.

He signed his $500 million contract before the season to stay with the Blue Jays, expressing belief in what this franchise could do. And now they're here, Game 7, one win from a championship.

Guerrero, a Canadian citizen who was born while his Hall of Fame father played for the Montreal Expos, respects those who have come before him. And on this night, he's hoping Marie-Philip Poulin can help get the job done for the Blue Jays.
