Toronto Blue Jays third base coach Carlos Febles had that look when LA Dodgers outfielder Tommy Edman cut off the leading man for the second time on the night, voiding the visitors of a potential go-ahead run in World Series Game 3.

The latest miscue happened at the top of the 10th inning, when Nathan Lukes doubled to right field. Pinch runner Davis Schneider was given the call-sign from Febles to advance to home when he was reaching third base. Teoscar Hernandez threw to second baseman Tommy Edman, who made another excellent throw from the infield so good that the catcher Will Smith was literally waiting at home to tag out Schnieder.

This was not the only blunder Febles made during the game.

Another potential game-winning opportunity arrived for the Blue Jays in the ninth inning. With one out and a runner on first, Daulton Varsho ripped the ball out of Freddie Freeman's handy first base hands, falling near the infield.

Tommy Edman made a heads-up run to get that ball. Meanwhile, Isiah Kiner-Falefa was hustling to second base, and after seeing no sign of a stop from Carlos Febles, he continued the advance to third base. However, Edman made up for his early error in the game by making an excellent throw to Max Muncy, who tagged out Kiner-Falefa just in time to record the second out, as the Blue Jays had their potential go-ahead runner out.

While the game is still very much alive with the scoreline 5-5 as we go to the bottom of the 11th inning. With Shohei Ohtani up on deck, the Blue Jays might have lost the game already.
