Have the Blue Jays won a World Series?
The Blue Jays have won the World Series, and are not one of the five teams still searching for their first championship. Toronto's first title came in 1992, which also happened to be the team's first World Series appearance, defeating the Atlanta Braves in six games.
Toronto clinched the win in Atlanta, upsetting a strong Braves team by winning two games on the road in the series.

How many World Series have the Blue Jays won?
The Blue Jays have won the World Series twice, with both wins coming in consecutive seasons. Toronto first beat the Braves in 1992 to win their first title, and the Blue Jays followed that up with a successful title defense in 1993, over the Philadelphia Phillies.
Toronto has only made the playoffs seven times in their history.

Last time the Blue Jays won the World Series
Toronto's last World Series victory came in 1993, which also featured one of the most iconic moments in MLB history. Outfielder Joe Carter hit a walk-off home run in Game 6 against the Phillies, which was one of only two walk-off homers in MLB history.
That marked back-to-back titles for Toronto, becoming one of six MLB teams to win two-straight championships in league history.

Last time Blue Jays played in World Series
The Blue Jays haven't been to the World Series since their explosive walk-off winner in 1993. After winning that World Series, Toronto proceeded to miss the playoffs every season until 2015, when they broke the drought to win the AL East.
Since 2015, the Blue Jays have made three ALCS appearances, but are still looking for their third ever American League pennant.

Both of the Blue Jays two World Series victories came in six games, as they beat the Braves and the Phillies in tough matchups. In both of those series, Toronto was up 3-1 on the opponent before dropping Game 5 just to clinch the victory in Game 6.
The Blue Jays' victory over the Braves was an upset, as Atlanta won two more games and was playing in its second-straight World Series. In 1993, Toronto also had a worse record than the Phillies, but the team still had home field advantage, which came in handy in Game 6.
