Blue Jays' Vladimir Guerrero Jr. ties Jose Bautista's Toronto postseason record image

Vladimir Guerrero Jr.'s special postseason continued.

The Toronto Blue Jays' superstar homered on Wednesday as Toronto picked up its first win of the ALCS over the Seattle Mariners, taking Game 3 and closing the series deficit to 2-1.

It was a record-tying home run for Guerrero, too.

He now has four homers this postseason, which ties 2015 Jose Bautista for most in franchise history, according to MLB Network's Sarah Langs.

Might be time to cue the bat flips.

In all seriousness, Guerrero has proven himself worthy of that $500 million contract he got before the season.

The three prior playoff homers came, one apiece, in each of the first three games of the ALDS against the New York Yankees.

Vladdy hasn't cooled down much.

If he can go on another heater like that one in the ALDS, that'd be a big help. The Blue Jays still have some ground to make up in the ALCS. But at least they have Vladdy stepping in and potentially making a big difference.
