Blue Jays' Vladimir Guerrero Jr. makes NSFW proclamation after first home run of season image

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Took a little while to deliver his first back payment for his $500 million contract.

But on Wednesday, Vladdy launched his first home run of the season in the Blue Jays' 3-1 win over the Braves.

It was quite the relief for Toronto's superstar.

The mood could be seen and heard afterward, loud and clear, on the game's television broadcast.

After making his way to the end of the dugout after his teammates celebrated with him, Guerrero let out three words: "About f—ing time."

Yes indeed.

Guerrero entered the day having gone 69 at bats without a homer to start the season.

After slugging 30 in 2024, it was a bit of a worrisome start.

He was hitting a decent.275, just without the ball over the fence to show for it.

Now, though, Vladdy can try and get on a hot streak. The Blue Jays are in the ultra-competitive AL East Division, which means they need their superstar to play like one.

And on Wednesday, Guerrero got his groove back. He might be ready to go on a hot streak.
